I'm a 12 year-old girl/young women in a family of seven. It's not like I usually have time to blog, but I found out that I was allowed to be able to blog for the past two months, one week, one day, and six hours! Who knew? My name isn't exactly Starr, but I would like it to be! My name is actually Malena, perhaps you've read my mom's blog, "Hales and Hacienda" or something like that. I would like my name to be Starr because, like I said, I don't change much.
I play this game called "The Power Game." I made this game up myself, and it's pretty addicting. Before I launch myself into the back-story of the game, let me tell you a little about myself. I have three really close friends, Savanna, Michael, and Hunter. They all play the game with me, and we all have special names for our characters. Savanna is Atomm, (we all have double letters) for her atom powers. Michael is Matt, for matter, and Hunter is Comm, for his power of metal and static electricity(computers, compass). I am Starr, for space powers. This game has grown quite popular throughout the school and I'm pretty proud. In the game, we tend to run around and suddenly fall as if hit with a tranquilizer dart. Which, with a little imagination, is quite true.
I'm not exactly popular, but I am very well known. If you are in the school, there is some way to know me. I volunteer in a second grade classroom(well, used to, end of school year), run as fast as the fastest boy in the school, draw attention to myself, last year I took a video of myself tied to a chair and got out in two minutes, taught myself sign language, and even once played a game where I did the most dangerous way of playing on playground equipment. I also have amazing skill on dodging balls in dodge ball and ball tag. Once, I taunted the most fastest and talented thrower in the grade while about ten feet away. Nobody ever comes after me and my friends because it's just not possible to hit us. If we keep quiet, we always win. Well, he turned and chucked the ball at my chest as hard as he could. I knew how hard that would hurt; I panicked, I didn't expect him to throw the ball at me. I threw myself to the ground and it sailed over me. I won and never got hit for the rest of the year.
I love space. It's wonderful, and I would love to be a astronomer when I grow enough.
